There no exact dates when the history of wine began. But it always have been the "drink of the Gods". It was a symbol of fertility, immortality, and divinity. Wine was frequently mentioned in books, and had an enormous religious, cultural, and social importance.
So what is Wine?
It seems that the answer to the eternal philosophic question is so diverse and has different definition for each of us.
For some, it is a drink to celebrate the most important moments in our lives. It's the elixir of wealth, strength and confidence.
For others (and me personally ) it is the Sun, Water, Soil and a lifelong man Work combined all together.It is the purest nectar of nature that truly enriches people's lives.

The technical side of winemaking might remain a mystery for many, however a little bit of information about "ProductionArea", "Grape Varieties", "Climate" , "Producers" and "Vintage" can not only satisfy your intellectual curiosity but also lead you to the wines you're most likely to enjoy.
The first information that will definatly help you understand your wine better is the information about Grape Variety. The Variety gives a wine its defining character, although the flavor might vary slightly depending on where the grapes are grown.
The second important factor is Climate. Wine is one of the most sensitive and nuanced of agricultural products.Varieties that are best suited to a cool climate tend to produce wines that are more subtle, with lower alcohol, crisp acidity, a lighter body, and typically bright fruit flavors, while those from hot climates tend to be bolder wines with higher alcohol, soft acidity, a fuller body, and more dark or lush fruit flavors .
